You are eligible for any "recalls" on the vehicle as they are mandated and enforced by the U.S. and Canadian governments because they are always safety related. Technical service bulletins (TSB'S), however are not covered and they tend to be the big screw-ups...like faulty transmissions. Honda did extend the warranty on these models to cover the faulty transmissions and I have heard of second party owners receiving some help in this regard, but it will be up to your local customer service rep. If you don't get happiness from your dealer, and people rarely do, phone the head office Honda customer service rep. in your area.

Not for something that old. There is no warranty. You can check with Honda, but I doubt it. And it shouldn't matter if you are the second or third or fourth owner. Check it out. If Honda makes it good, I will buy a Honda.

Just bought renault senic dash board says check airbag what do l do

Don't know what the laws are where you are at, but did you buy it from a dealer or private party? If you bought from a dealer, he may be required to fix or replace. If it was a private party, their have been gangs of Ukraineians selling cars with no airbags and such. Hope it was a dealer. Take in to have it looked at. Many states have laws for this kind of thing, and a lot have buyers remorse laws that let you take it back.

I just bought a 2004 Buick Rendezvous from a private party. The seller said the A/C wasn't reconnected after some work was done....any suggestions on how I can "reconnect" it? When the switch is turned on...

There is nothing you can do in that case

Your going to need a lot of work done at
a shop that does A/C work

When an a/c system is left open to the air, it
pretty much is ruined from the chemical reaction
to air entering, may have to replace many components

2000 Ford Winstar, 80000 miles on it just bought

Seeing as how no one ever changes trans fluid and all vehicles tend to have some trans issues,I would say your best bet is to check with a trans shop and if your comfortable there, have it towed. Unless it is something simple, expect about a $2000.00 repair bill.

Low beams do not work and bought the car with a salvage title and the dmv wantsa lights and brakes inspection to registar it. Any suggestions?

If you bought it from a used car dealer, it is their responsibility. If you bought it from a private party, it's probably on you. Say hello to your credit card or checkbook...

You still have to have the inspection, but check the fuses for the low-beams. They are separate from the high-beams

However, if the DMV says "you need this to register it", you need it to register it. They are probably going to ask for a safety inspection, as well. If you didn't make arrangements with the seller, then it's your problem. There are no "lemon laws" to protect you with private party used car sales.
