okay so i fixed the problem myself, this is how to do it. take out the consol shifter bot shift knob. take off the connecting sockets to the shifter. pull up the carpet and follow the cable it goes through the fire wall on the passenger side both cables go through another boot there. take a flat screw driver and pry off the boot. feed the cables underneithe the plastic peice that go through under the dash. open the hood and take off the sockets connecting the cables to the transmission. they are in a bracket a little further down the line pull them out of that then you should be able to take the cable right out. assemble in reverse order

Remove wheel, caliper and rotor. hit it solidly with a good hammer and it should go right through and fall out. Sometimes you will need to grind a bit off the side of the new one to get it past any obstructions. That will not harm its performance in any way unless you take way more than you need to off of it.To get it all the way back in, oil the threads, put a stack of large washers on it and tighten the nut on backwards till you draw it all the way in.

the large cable goes on the terminal with the large nut and lock washer....the other goes to the terminal marked with an R or S depending on where the smaller cable hooks to...neither of the two smaller ones should fit to where the batt cable wire does...good luck, hope this helps....pappy
