You will need to get a set of fuel line removal tools. You may be able to buy just the one you need, but usually come in a set of 4 or more for different cars. These can be purchased at auto zone or other parts store for about $10.

The fuel pump strainer must be in a horizontal position when the fuel sender is installed in the tank. When installing the sender assembly, make sure that the fuel pump strainer does not block full travel of the float arm.
