Without knowing more details, you have the classic signs of a worn CV joint on one of the driveshafts. The noise will be loudest when steering at full lock away from the side with the noise.

It's a straightforward repair and within the capabilities of any competent DIY mechanic especially if equipped with a Haynes Manual.

The cost is dependent upon where you are in the world and whether you use new parts, salvaged parts and whether you DIY or get a mechanic. Where I live (London, England) and brand new joint costs about £35 but I can buy a complete salvaged driveshaft for about £25.

Fitting the complete driveshaft is a bit quicker and easier IMHO. Note that if you have ABS you MUST buy the correct part, but you can use an ABS compatible driveshaft or CV joint on a non-ABS 106.

A professional mechanic should take no more than an hour to do the job unless further work is found to be necessary.

Usually that sound is associated with CV axles. The price for the repair depends on your part prices and your local labor rates. Usually, in my area, CV axles are about $150 per side at the cheapest and prices just go up from there depending on the vehicle.
Of course it could be as simple as a piece pf trash wrapped around a shaft hitting an undercar component when the wheels are turned. Have it diagnosed as CV axles before you replace them. Many shops will diagnose noises for free or very cheap in hopes of gettin your business. If they do charge for a diagnosis on something like this, make sure they will waive the fee if you have the repair performed there. This kind of diagnosis should only take the technician a few minutes to perform.

Peugot 106 got warter under rocker cover and white creamey gung going from the breather from the rocker to the air filtter been told its not head gasket

So it's not the head gasket? And you are still losing coolant? Well, okay, you will have to find how the water is getting into the rocker, and whether it's your lost coolant or plain water. IDK, possibly an intake manifold leak?
Even though the oil looks clean, the water and gunge in the rocker area will drain into the sump and contaminate the oil. If it's not the coolant, run the engine until it is hot, then give it a few minutes for the oil and water to drain down from top of the engine into the oil sump. Then change the oil and oil filter. Good luck, hope you find the problem.

take it back to the dealer, its under warranty and they will take care of it, sounds like you have a small leak, and you should probally keep an eye on the coolant level until you get it fixed

I have a Peugot 106 Independence and the battery charger warning light comes on intermittently although this does not seem to affect running. Car had inspection but no fault was found. Does any one have...

If the battery had not been replaced, then this should have been replaced before the alternator.

The alternator belt (serpentine belt) should be well in tension, when this is not in tension, or need to be replaced you get battery warning light.

To put serpentine belt in tension you need to undo the tensioner arm bolt a bit, and move the tensioner pulley. Sometimes you need to hammer the arm with a rubber hammer to do this.
