When i start my engine when i start my engine it wont start up right away , I have to keep cranking it to start up. then it starts up and runs great. what do you think it might be. i know for sure its not the starter couse i just recently changed it thank you

you meant it wont crank right? if it dont crank is will not start with automatic trans.
jump cable crank it off a running donor car.yet,AAA tow style>?
keep cables in car at all times, I do for 50 years.

own a voltmeter?

but after running my car, the battery discharges and it will not crank at all. right?
this means ,the charging system on your car is bad.
if the starter cranks great, then the engine is flooded or is in great need of a tune up (sparkplugs etc)
if flooded try the super secret in the op guide, crank with throttle wide open , this magic trick cuts all fuel injection allowing the flooding
to purge away, and eventual starting.
my guess 2 is the car wont start, so you crank the battery flat

replace fuel filter replace air filter,clean fuel injectors because they could be dirty clogged with carbon causing injectors to stick open and keep spraying fuel when engine off flooding engine.code scan for faulty engine coolant temperature sensor or CMP sensor.

o2 is a sensor. You could try replacing the correct one (up to 4 o2 sensors are possible any given vehicle). If check engine light is still on, have the codes cleared, have scan performed again to get the fault codes for possibly the specific o2 sensor. Hope this is helpful.

there is only two things left. the crank sensor that is located at the top of the transmission bellhousing or the pick up inside of the dist. it is that black plate that sits between the cap and the dist housing. hope that helps.

There are a number of think's that could cause this . wont start right away when ? First start of the day ,anytime ? Testing would have to be done to know for sure . IF it seams to run fine after it does start ,it would be a fuel pump or filter problem . More then like a fuel management system sensor problem . mass air flow sensor comes to mind . But having a qualified repair Tech . looking at scan data on a professional type scan tool Should be the thing to do.

generally its the main relay

try checkin your idle air control. most of the time it is a vacuumn line going into intake.pull it off and if the car revs up dont worry, it wont hurt it. if it does simply put it back on, if it dies you have a bad vacumn.

Crank or cam sensor probably as plugs bad plugs would start but miss the sensor will either give a start or no start condition and on 1 truck the crank sensor went out and it would run cold but miss like crazy when warm,I work in a chyrsler shop and have never seen that happen and even a scan tool didn't pick it up.
