It sounds as though the flap for directing hot/cold air has jammed. My 1995 SHO has this issue as well. The solution requires opening the dash and replacing either the motors that control it, the flaps, or the connecting hardware components.

Sounds like your hot/cold door is stuck on cold. Is the heat not hot either? If so that could be it. Perhaps your heater core. Good luck.

Knock in cold start up fo 95 Ford Taurus SE

If its a ticking noise Sounds like some sticky lifters. The heads get build up on them over the years and it takes awhile for the oil to get thin (hot) enfo to lube them. The noise is them being dry.

You need proper fluid level for consistant heat you may have a leak or crack in overflow bottle,Either replace it or find crack and epoxy it.Remember to run car with cap off for a little while while heat is on max to make sure all air is out of system. good luck

I have a 2000 Taurus with a V-6 standard motor. Unfortunately when the heat is turned on it will blow air, but not hot air. The a/c works just fine also. Where should I start looking for the solution /...

Start by allowing the motor to run until it reaches normal temperature. Check the top and bottom hoses on the radiator, if the top is hot and the bottm is cold it's likely the thermostat is stuck closed. Also check the hoses on the heater core. If they're not both hot the heater core is blocked.

1995 Taurus will not restart after sitting 5 minutes. After sitting for approximately an additional hour will restart.

With the spark dying it sounds like electric problems. Your coil can be failing when it builds up heat sitting. The fan air and air from driving can keep the coil cool but then it acts like a heat sink when the engine sits.
The battery can also play out in heat, have it tested. Finally the ground wires could be dirty. The motor has more compression when hot. This time of year cold oil is not a factor on cold starts, so you do not have problems on the initial start. The starter ground seems okay, but the chassis ground for the ignition could be corroded.

Air conditioning blows nothing but cold air. can't get heat.

IF U ARE TRYIN TO GET THE HEAT U CAN DO 3 THINGS
1. TURN HEATER ON THE FACE/FEET POSITION AND PLACE ON HIGH, TAKE THE RADIATOR CAP OFF AND CONTINUE TO POUR WATER/COOLANT UNTIL HEAT GETS HOT
2. CHECK/REPLACE THERMASTAT
3. CHECK/REPLACE HEATER CORE
