I have a 2003 chevy tahoe Lt the air works in front and with back controls but heat is only working in the front it blows with back controls but puts out no heat what causes this?

Your climate system can only cool or heat but not both. The temperature has a big effect on this. The cooling needs the compressor.

Heater control diagram

The Tahoe does not have a heater control valve. Coolant flows through the heater core all the time. The heater has a door that opens and allows heat to mix with air from the a/c system which also has a door for the evaporator. Depending on what temprature you choose the doors are opened by a computer that is reading a temp sensor down stream from the doors. It opens or closes the doors until the proper temp is reached. You may have a problem with the blend door being broken or the sensor may be bad.

I have a 97 tahoe and I nned to know how to take the right front door panel off so I can change the inside door handle

Hi, are you talking about the strap? If yes, there is no need to remove the panel. The trim pieces come off to reveal the screws. If you are talking about the lower handle, that is a part of the panel itself.

My 97 Tahoe wont start unless I hit unlock on remote. Is this factory?

Yes, this is normal. The vehicle has an immobilizer as part of the antitheft package. Hitting unlock not only unlocks the doors, but also disables the immobilizer feature.

THE PROBLEM IS NOT A FUSE, IT IS THE REAR SEAT AIR TEMPERATURE CONTROL BLEND DOOR THAT IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM.
