Hi, My car jumps (takes off) when I take the brake or try to speed up. It happened last week and the next day it was fine. Today it started to show this problem again.

This is one of two things. Either, you need to have your transmission repaired (lets hope not) or you just need to have your drive shaft lubricated. Lets hope its just the lubrication. Good luck!

Why is battery draining ford 2002 Taurus SES

Remove negative cable from battery, connect a test light to negative terminal, opposite end off light to negative battery post. ( let sit for 3 to 5 minutes). Then start pulling fuses, when the light goes out that's your bad circuit. God-Bless! Its worth a try.

I would first check and see if you have a build up of off ice on the inside of the wheels. If this started all of a sudden it might also be a brake problem like I have run into in the last few weeks of bad weather. The duel caliper brakes had one caliper piston stick and let the brake pad be uneven causing a vibration in the front end. Sometimes it would release and work fine. Hope its the ice in your wheels, but if not I would take a look at brakes before spending a lot of money. Good luck and have a good day.
