The blinkers on are ford don't work we tried to but in fuses but all the fuses work

If the lights come on but just do not flash, replace the flasher relay. Your Thunderbird has 2 flasher relays. One for the Turn signals and one for the Hazard lights. The turn signal relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in lower corner of fuse block . The hazard relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in rear of fuse block. Replace the one for the Turn Signals. Brake lights don't work on 1988 Ford Thunderbird

Check the brake light switch located under the dash, connected at the junction where the master cylinder rod connects to the brake pedal. Remove the connector and with a short piece of wire, paper clip works fine, insert into the two terminals on the connector. Check to see if your brake lights are on. If they are, your switch is bad.
