Question about 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Could be a short - or the connection is just loose - I suggest removing the unit, and checking the units are plugged into - also check any fuses and/or relays these may be linked to.
Make sure the pos and neg on the battery, starter and frame/chassi are clean and secured.
