2006 Trailblazer LT with power everything. Driver door & buttons (window & lock control) got very wet yesterday during heavy rain. Everything worked as of 6:00pm yesterday. This morning though, driver door buttons are dead. Passenger door lock button works, but not window. Rear door buttons work for those windows. I removed the driver door control & let it dry out for a while & reinstalled. Still does not work. Did not change the fuse. Would the board have shorted out? Perhaps only a blown fuse? Thanks,

I think you're in luck. There is a recall for the master switch due to this very issue. Act like you don't know what's wrong, they'll need to replace it to an updated one that won't be so prone to water infiltration.

SOURCE: 2006 Trailblazer Headlight Replacement

There are not two rods, there are two clips one under fender weild and one right above the light on top of the cover. Pull up on these two clips and pull the light forward a couple of inches and remove the dust cover. You have to take the air filter cover off to be able to reach in and replace the light. It took me about 10 min to figure these out but hope it helps out.

SOURCE: water leak

Water leak test the windshield . Carpet should be removed and dried out, Replace matting if necessary, because it will NEVER dry. Look by front firewall floor for drippage. Windshield moldings must be removed if resealing is nec, and be sure to use a neoprene water resistant windshield sealer. Hope this helps.

Driver side power window and lock not working

Check the electrical connections for you control switches...there should be at least two of them. Disconnect them and see if there are any recessed pins or dirt. Do this several times as there may be some oxidation on the connectors and doing this will help clean them off. The radio and door light works of the small limit switch on your door frame. Everything else works through the operators window/door lock control panel.

Drivers door control panel (power window heated seat locks ect ) what to do none of it is working 2006 chevy trail blazer

Check fuse #10 in the rear fuse panel. If fuse OK, try switching passenger side control module into driver's side. Also check for broken wires in wiring harness that goes between body and driver's door.

2004 Chevy trailblazer. Power windows & locks dont work on driver side front controls. Have all ready removed and replaced control cluster on arm rest. All other wondows work at the respective door,...

Sounds like a fuse. Are you getting power to the driver door module (control cluster as you say). Below are 3 pictures for you. The first one is the location where the fuse box is located for that fuse (under drivers seat in the rear). The second picture is a diagram or the latout of the fuses. The fuse you want to check is the fuse marked "LT DOORS" or the one marked 02. It should be a 25 amp fuse. The 3rd picture is a wiring diagram for the circuit. If the fuse isn't blown check the power wire from the fuse box to the driver door control module. Sounds like a power issue. Anymore questions or diagrams that you need, feel free to email me at [email protected] and I should have and will send if you need anything else. I hope this helps and good luck.

2002 Chevy trailblazer. No power to drivers door.

Most common problem is a broken wire between body and door. Pull the rubber boot back and see, easier to find if you know what colour the wire is that is not working.

Window left open during rain now power window and lock not working on driver side door on 2006 chevy trailblazer

{: ) That's too bad. The driver door module could have been internally shorted out. It's normally not serviceable. A new driver door switch or module will need to be programmed to your vehicle before it functions properly.

I have a 2005 Trailblazer window problem

check for broken wires in the pivot point where the wire loom goes from the fender to the door.this is a problem area because of the movement of the door and the harness having to flex each time it is opened.
