look under the front of your blazer, just below the bumper, and you will see a little access door in the plastic guard. Open this door, and you will find your oil filter.

Try looking under the front of the vehicle, and there should be a trap door in the plastic underneath that provides oil filter access. It's like that on my 95 chevy blazer which is essentially the same vehicle...4.3L motor V6. Hope this helps.

Too little info from you in any case since that truck could have several different engines.
In general, they are located on the block (lower section of your engine) itself.
I'd recommend purchasing a Haynes or Chilton aftermarket manual for your GMC.
It would be of great help for answering many questions that may come up during your ownership.
These can be had at any of the chain auto parts stores for <$20 US.
