Unfortunally this is a problem with your upper intake gasket, or a freeze plug located on the back of the heads, this will require engine removal, if only upper intake leaks this is a on car repair no need to remove eng. asuming your eng has not been overheated, because of eng heads warped. god look

4 cyl., 5 speed. Why is it leaking somewhere under the frame - not transmission fluid

Smell the fluid. If it smells like gasoline you have a gas leak. If it smells like antifreeze you could have a hose or a anti freeze cooler line leaking. Or could be a water pump leaking and running along the frame under the car. Get a flash light and crawl under neath the vehicle and see where the fluid is coming from.

Why is my car losing antifreeze but there are no visible leaks, even under pressure??

Usually means you have a head gasket leaking coolant into the cylinders and the engine is burning it out the exhaust pipe. Once the leak gets bigger than what the cylinders can burn, it will show up in the engine oil.

My 2003 galant is leaking antifreeze onto my transmission resivior, trouble shoot?

This could be a cracked tank for your radiator filler. Try placing a clean paper towel under the antifreeze tank and fill it with coolant. If there is a crack in the tank you will see it or the results of it. Replace the antifreeze tank - these things get cracked when people put water in the tank instead of mixed water and antifreeze. You get a hard freeze and bingo - your coolant tank breaks - usually on a seam and underneath it where you can't easily see it.

My gf has a 2001 blazer with the 4.3 vortec. it is leaking antifreeze and i cannot find the leak, its not getting in the oil,and the floorboards are not wet. someone told me that it could be the intake...

Most likely the intake gasket is leaking. You can check under the ac compressor and back by the transmission bell housing these are where the intakes usually leak. If you have a uv light it will illuminate the antifreeze very brightly.

Is transmission cooler located inside of radiator on 99 chevy suburban? (OEM) car froze at -3 temp fear we have antifreeze in trany fluid, fluid resivore is to full. also water leaking out under car...

I would not worry about antifreeze in the transmission. The pressure in the tranny cooler will not let any coolant get in. If it was leaking you would have tranny fluid in the radiator. You may have some freeze plugs that have pushed out or a cracked block or some coolant passage above the transmission. Get it pressure checked

No heat from heater, antifreeze leak.

Start car and put your hand two inches from the tailpipe for 10 seconds and immediately smell your hand. Is there a sweet smell? If there is you are getting antifreeze into your combustion chamber. Head gasket or intake gasket leak.
If it is not this. Put some new cardboard under the vehicle (under engine and transmission) and try to get an idea of where it is leaking.
You wont get heat from a car if it's coolant level is too low.

Leaks small amount of coolant, but I don't see

Check the engine oil, see if the level is going up and what the condition is. you can take the oil cap off and inspect under it. if there is a milky fluid then the antifreeze is leaking in to your engine crank case which is bad for the engine bearing. The other thing to also check is the transmission fluid. make sure that its till bright red and not over filled to make sure it's not leaking in to your transmission through the transmission cooler which is apart of the radiator too. Good luck and keep me posted. Be glad to help.

Slight leak from bottom of radiator

Transmission fluid will be red in color. Radiator antifreeze will be a different color either lime or orange. Antifreeze has a slimy consistency while trans fluid is simply oily. Put a piece of cardboard under the engine to see if you can pinpoint exactly where it is coming from. Could it be condensation from the a/c? If so, that will be clear water.
