I would not recommend doing this work at home. It requires specialized tools, such as a torque wrench, piston ring compressor, and a good manual for torque sequence and values. Furthermore, most blown gasket mishaps require bringing the head surface back to flat and true.

Coolant leaking into oil, what is the cheapest way to fix this?

SOUNDS LIKE A BLOWN HEAD GASKET! YOU CAN TRY A WATERGLASS LEAK REPAIR THRU RADIATOR! WATERGLASS IS A COMPONENT LIQUID IN THE RADIATOR LEAK PRODUCTS THRU PARTS STORES, OR WAL-MART! THEN CHANGE OIL! IF THE PROBLEM PERSISTS, YOU'LL HAVE TO REPLACE HEAD GASKETS!

How much would it cost to fix the head gasket pontiac sunfire 1999

If you get a Haynes or Chilton's repair manual on your vehicle and do it yourself, about $60 for the Head Gasket. If you have a shop do it about $200.

My 2003 dodge caravan SE 3.3 liter is smoking white smoke and the oil in the dip stick is whiteish. I know i either have a blown head gasket or cracked head but how much would the repair be and can i do it...

i would not sujest doing this kinda work your self if your not into working on engines the only reason i say this is that there is a lot that goes into replacing these gaskets you dont really need any special tools you will need a tourge wrench i would go buy a haynes or chiltons repair manual it will give you step by step instructoins on how to do the repairs and after you read the steps then you should be able to decied weather you want to do the repairs. as far as the cost from a shop would charge normal around 350 to 600 depending on if the head needs to be replaced or machined.

1994 old cutlass ciera 3100 blown head gasket.

Get a Chilton's book on the car. It will take you thru the whole job, and give you the torque specs for putting it back together. You will need a torque wrench, foot pounds, and a good socket set.

Transmission oil in coolant?

Trans fluid can get into radiator by the trans cooler built into radiator side, automatics...
Engine oil can come thru cracked block, head gaskets

Which oil is it? Either way it needs to be fixed.

Typically with automatic trans they can overheat and cause engine temp issues, because they cool thru the radiator using an in tank cooler along side.
IF you overheat the trans you CAN overheat engine
IF you overheat the engine you CAN overheat the trans
