Question about 2000 Ford Mustang
Could I please get the band adjustments for my 2000 Mustang. How many turns out for forward and reverse?
I have a 2000 Honda Accord EX, it shifts normal on forward with no problem. Also when the car is cold the reverse gear works just fine, but when the car runs for about few minutes the reverse gear will not work. It will seem as if it wants to go but then if feels like its neutral.

I can't find any reference to an adjustment in the overhaul manual, so i will assume this means no adj ness. or provided for.

Testimonial: "We figured the trans needs to be replaced but someone mentioned the bands and we wanted to see what if we could find out more about it, thanks"
Slow, slipping or no reverse: “lo-reverse” clutches are worn out,
fluid leak in the reverse apply circuit. It is
possible to remedy a fluid problem by removing the checkball from its
cage in the case in the trans may help (must remove
valvebody), or adding a high-viscosity additive such as Lucas
Transmission additive or other seal restorer product. May also have worn
boost valve (can replace in the pan).
Thank you for using fixya and good luck
