Question about 2000 Volvo V40
Volvo v40 p reg radiator fan does not run when engine gets hot. I have conected the fan direct to the car battery and it works ok. I think there should be a wax fan control switch somewere that must be faulty. But were is it ? Its normaly screwed into the radator but i just carnt find it. How do i test it? is there any way of testing the wireing harnes from switch to fan?
I have been told to just wire a togle switch and inline 30 amp fuse from the battery which should be ok but just want to check as its not my car
It could be a fan switch relay also. or a bad connection. or any type of thing. it's best to let the volvo dealer take care of the issues. volvo's are tricky to work on and they are best equipped with highly skilled and trained volvo technicians that would know more about volvo's than any other shop around.
