I to know were the fuse in fuse box at for the ciger ligther and the amp is it 20 or 10 on 1999 lincoln continental

Check the fuse box of the car some have a fuse at the back of the CD player but you have to slide it out to get access to it.

well it could be a fuse or the wire under the dash that plugs into back of it came loose.

The brake light fuse for this 1992 Lincoln continental is located in the fuse box located on the driver side of the dash.You will need to look under the dash on driver side. i have enclosed a picture diagram of the fuse box and i have circled the brake light fuse.This fuse is in slot location # 1 and uses a 15 amp fuse. hope this is helpful. any other problems let me know, good day.
