Most likely the ignition/enginre control module (spark control computer)... best advise is to pay to have a shop hook it to their computer and diagnose the problem...

Check the imobiliser on the car first. Second Cam pick up, third crank pickup. Both pick ups should give a puse on an anologue meter. If one doesn't you have your answer!

What is the torque on the head bolts and sequence on a 760 volvo 2.3 turbo

The head torquing sequence for any cylinder head is as below, continue the pattern if there are more than 10 bolts:-

10 6 1 3 7

8 4 2 5 9

Start at the middle two bolts and do your sequence at least three times, first at about half the torque, then the full torque value at least twice. It is good practice to re torque the head again after about 1000 km (600 miles), but this is often disregarded due to the problems of getting to the head bolts.

Volvo 1986 760 turbo fuel injection

At the end of the fuel rail, attached to the front of the engine, is the FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR. check to make sure that the vacuum hose attached to it is TIGHT. If this regulator is not functioning---replace it.

You may have to do a fuel pressure test to ascertain the correct pump pressure and function of your high pressure undercarriage pump. At lower than OEM pressure, the injectors will not open, even with fuel flowing through the rail.
