Question about 1992 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
I have a 2000 w124 230 e automatic. It is using transmission fluid like crazy. When I idle the car for a while and pull away lots and lots of white smoke out the back. Engine oil fine and stable. But transmission fluid is being used up. What can it be

Check the fuel pump pressure ( use correct pressure guage and safety goggles) and make sure the fuel filter is good or replace before you do that.
Pressure should be around four and half to five bar. If that works out ok, borrow an air flow sensor from a friends car (which is running correctly and try it. You may have to replace all three items to get the performance you want. Best of luck
