There is more than likely a sequence to resetting the alarm, is the batterys in the remote flat as they are only 3 volts a piece (6 volts).

    The remote is broken and was not working before the situation.

    Via the original alarm company being genuine or not you need a remote to oparate the signal to turn off the bleeps of the alarm,

06 Ford Escape Hybrid. I didn't drive it and the battery died. Alarm settings are messed up need to reset to factory settings. Help!

I am not real familiar with Hybrids. In general, to go to a default setting you would disconnect the regular battery for at least 10 seconds and the systems should reboot. It does not cost to try this.

2001 ford escape makes a hissing and high pitched squealing sound when the brake pedal is released?

You need to have the brakes inspected. This noise is the brake pad wear warning tab hitting the brake rotor.;

How do you re-set the immobilizer on a 2004 Ford Escape? The key indicator on the dash keeps flashing and vehicle will not turn over.

Hi

Disconnect the car battery completely for 24hrs if possible, this should reset the computer, alternatively hold down the button until the alarm sounds then lock the car with the key this sometimes does the job.

The cold often causes this issue on this model, hope this helps

Turn key on and now no dash lites as usual but a flashing lock and no crank in start position. battery was discnnected for service and reconnected, the alarm horn sounds too.

The vehicle alarm system needs a reset......can be done by most mobile alarm companies or it will have to go to the ford dealer.

New battery -alarm sounds- have to disconnect the battery-

The sounding alarm maybe a security system installed by in the truck. Disconnecting the battery will only temporarily solve your problem, but will resume once you reconnect the battery for electrical power.

You must find the keychain/remote of the security system and disable it. If you are unable to locate this, you can have it disconnected by a qualified automotive electrician.

Word of caution though, if you are using the keyless entry system with the security system, this will be disabled until you install a receiver with such function.

Hope this helps.
