94 jeep grand cherokee when put on defrost doesn't blow from top of dash it blows out of floor vents. where is defrost damper located? Picture or diagram, if you have one wood be helpful

Replace the vent motor. Most likely vacuum. make sure the vacuum tube isn't broken.

There is a door actuator motor that is not working,the dash will have to come out to replace the actuator motor.

Blowes air throught defrost vents only

its a problem with the switching mechanism. you have to look up under the dash to see if you can see where the switching mechanism is. if you can not see it from there youll have to remove complete center dash

behind the center counsel between the floor and the heater housing is a part that is called the blend door actuator. these usually go bad and have to be replaced.

2001 Jeep Cherokee a/c blows defroster only, no cruise control

There is a vacuum leak under the hood somewhere. Check the vacuum at the speed control servo. If there is no vacuum on the line with the engine running, follow the line to find the leak. The vacuum reservoir is mounted under the battery tray. I would look in that area after confirming no vacuum at the servo.

Heater vent doesn't shift to all positions

Sounds like you have a vacuum leak, those controls are are accuated by vacuum.
