It is not leaking at the hose. There is a rectangular square and water is spouting out of the drivers sidelike a small fountain. The rectangular piece that i am referring to is 12 to 16 inches long and 4-6 inches deep

Does it have a lower radiator hose? Have replaced the upper. Still leaking antifreeze when engine is hot.

In addition to a big lower hose, there are s few more places where the water can leak, such as the cab heater core, the thermostat, the coolant level sensor the pump, and ultimately the engine.

STEAM COMING OFF ENGINE

check top radiator hose goes to thermostat housing sound like its leaking if your engine leaking from left driver side on top of engine it has to be top radiator thermostat hose leaking.wait until engine cool down replace top radiator hose see if coolant leaking still occur if so you could have radiator leak.

This morning the big hose that goes to my engine started to leak what looks like water i was wondering which hose is that, so i can replace it!

I think you are referring to the radiator hose, there is one at the bottom of the radiator & one at the top, you just ask for a top or bottom radiator hose( whichever one is leaking) for you make & model vehicle.....hope this helps......cheers.

Coolant leaked out; how do i repair?

TO FIX COOLANT LEAK.YOU HAVE TO LOCATE IT.BEST TIME FIND COOLANT LEAK WAIT UNTIL MORNING.ADD COOLANT UNTIL COOLANT LEVEL IN RADIATOR CORRECT. START THE ENGINE LET IDLE UNTIL START GETTING HOT.THEN TURN OFF ENGINE.COOLANT PRESSURE WILL PUSH COOLANT OUT WHERE LEAKS ARE.CHECK TOP RADIATOR HOSE AND BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSE.CHECK AROUND RADIATOR LOOK DOWN BELOW COOLANT FAN AREA BEHIND RADIATOR.LOOK FOR LEAKS AT RADIATOR CORES AND SIDE CONTAINERS.CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS AROUND WATER PUMP GASKET OR WEEP HOLE.CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS AROUND HEATER HOSES AND HEATER CORE.CHECK ENGINE CRANKCASE FOR COOLANT LEAKS.

Car overheated and lost all power. how do I get it to start?

ENGINE NOT GOING TO START IF GET TOO HOT FIRST THING I WOULD REPLACE THERMOSTAT AND RADIATOR PRESSURE CAP THEN ADD COOLANT UNTIL COOLANT LEVEL CORRECT THATS WHEN THERMOSTAT OPEN UP AND TOP HOSE HOT.CHECK FOR LEAKING RADIATOR HOSES CHECK TOP RADIATOR HOSE CHECK BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSE.CHECK FOR LEAKS AROUND THE RADIATOR LOOK DOWN BELOW COOLANTS FANS CHECK FOR LEAKS AT RADIATOR CORES OR LEAKS AT THE RADIATOR PLASTIC SIDE CONTAINERS. CHECK FOR LEAKS AT WATER PUMP WEEP HOLE AND CHECK FOR LEAKS AT THE HEATER HOSES AROUND ENGINE BLOCK TO THE HEATER CORE HOSES. THERE IS A REASON CAR OVERHEAT.IF CAR OVERHEAT WHILE DRIVING YOU HAVE FAULTY THERMOSTAT OR LEAKING OUT COOLANT OR BLOWN HEAD GASKET.IF ENGINE OVER HEAT WHILE SITTING DURING A LONG IDLING PERIOD.YOU COULD HAVE FAULTY COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR OR FAULTY COOLING FAN FUSE OR RELAY.HOT WIRE COOLANT TO SEE IF IT RUNS IF NO REPLACE FAN MOTOR. IF YES FAN MOTOR COULD HAVE FAULTY WIRE OR PCM FAILURE. CHECK ENGINE CRANKCASE IF OIL LOOKS LIKE MILK SHAKE ENGINE HEAD GASKET LEAKING.

I am having a problem with antifreeze smell and leak. I can't see where the leak is coming from but I do see spots on the ground. It does not over heat but it does have a sent of pancake syrup once heated....

LEAK COULD BE COMING FROM RADIATOR.WHEN YOU FIRST START VECHICLE UP IN MORNING LET ENGINE IDLE TO GET UNTIL THERMOSTAT OPEN AND COOLANT PRESSURE BUILD UP. TURN ENGINE.OFF. RAISE HOOD YOU WILL SEE LEAK. THE COOLANT PRESSURE WILL PUSH OUT ANTIFREEZE.LOOK FOR LEAKS AROUND TOP RADIATOR HOSE AND LOWER RADIATOR HOSE.LOOK ON SIDES RADIATOR AND LOOK BELOW RADIATOR AREA WHERE COOLANTS FANS LOCATED RADIATOR CORES WILL LEAK AND LOOK AROUND WATER PUMP + BYPASS HOSE + CHECK HEATER HOSES TO HEATER CORE THAT GOES THROUGH BACK LOWER FIRE WALL.

Water leak inside on passenger side from under the dash, i think its from the heater hose or something, its draining the radiator 1995 cadillac deville

Your heater core is leaking, and when it does, it drains into the foot well passenger side. Best case would be a hose that is leaking, worst case is the core itself. Replacing the core is a big job.

Check engine on, coolant overheating, i already change water pump, but water hose is with a lot of pressure, do you think can be air on water system?

All car cooling systems have at least 10lb pressure, check with your manufacturer on your car's radiator pressure cap or local parts supplier. If pressure is alot more then I would suspect a leaking head gasket.

Easiest test for the obvious leaking head gasket is when the engineis cold / remove the radiator cap and fill right to the top with water and crank / start engine. If you see a mini "guyser" of water come out then head (S) need to come off.

You haven't mentioned whether its actually losing . using water??

Car overheated and now leaks coolant

Thats not a good sign. When a engine overheads, the heads tend to warp, especially aluminum heads. It could be something as simple as a hose or waterpump leaking, but because its associated with an overheat condition, I suspect a warped head. Most garages have a pressure tester where they can pressurize your coolant system and check for leaks without the engine running.
