Question about Dodge Stratus
It definitely could be a head gasket. A cylinder leak down test will help confirm where the problem might be. If it leaks into the intake manifold or out of the exhaust pipe you may need to have a valve job done on the head. If it leaks into one cylinder 2 then look towards the head gasket. If it leaks into the oil pan you might have piston or ring damage. Other then that you won't know until the cylinder head is removed to do a visual inspection of all the parts.
