Where is the Distributor located in a chevrolet silverado 1999 1500

i am assumming that your engine is a 5.0 or a 5.7 liter engine.this is the most common used in the chevy pickup.this means "if" it has a distributor it will be located at the rear of the engine.BUT it could also be "dis" ignition or "cop" type ignition. dis is distributorless and cop is coil on plug type ignition

Location of heater water control valve for 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 5.3 liter 2 wheel drive P.U.

The right side hose coming from heater core runs into a connector. There is a hose parallel to this connector. At the end is what your looking for. If your wanting to replace this cause your heater doesnt work id recommend flushing your heater core first. My heat didnt work at all flushed it yesturday and works like a charm.

Need to know where the egr valve is located on a 2000 chevy silverado 1500 5.3 liter engine

. The EGR valve is located in front of the oil filler neck. All you need to do is remove the electrical wire from the top of the valve, there is a clip on the connector so don't try and pull it off without lifting the clip. Once the wire has been disconnected, just unbolt the two bolts holding the EGR valve on. Thats it.

Emission leak po442

9 times out of 10, your gas cap isn't on tight enough. Check your hoses to and from the canister for damage, or possible disconnection. Also check your pcv valve and connecting hose. Last, look to the purge solenoid.
