I have a 94 jeep cherokee that wont turn over or wont start?

No cranks is here
https://www.jeepdied.com/no-crank.html
TURNS OVER MEANS ZERO.
the starter just CRANK.
THE START MOTOR TURNS
IF lucky so does the crank shaft turn.
then the engine starts and runs, (this is not turns)
it's running
the EFI then sustains running , if ABS stays happy.
the engine can also stall.

Why wont my Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited start?

Sounds like you have a bad alternator. Not recirculating juice back to the battery.

Can't start the vehicle. think it has to do with the security system. is there a way to bypass it. also at times when it was running you would have to manually shift the automatic.

The security system only disables the starter so if the engine spins but doesnt start then its no the alarm system, if you turn the key and nothing happens then it may be alarm, these jeeps often have a bad lock switch for the alarm and if its not spinning to try and start then try locking and unlock the pass/side door, again if the engine is spinning over but wont catch then there another problem, the trany problem is sperate has nothing to do with the starting with the fluid level first if its low add oil and retry if it still acts up then have a trany shop test drive, may have a bad or weak trany.also try sparying some starting fluid into throtle and see if it runs for a while because these jeeps also have problems with fuelpumps, if it starts then you may have a bad fuelpump, this is only if the engine spins over when key is turned, hope this helps.

Fan is wabling on a 1997 jeep, the belt is still on for now, we can't start the jeep up because it hit the schroud.

Now its a couple of things that may be wrong...1 is your waterpump may be bad, and the shaft is wobbling back and forth...2. it could be your fan clutch...or 3. it just maybe the fan blade itself..sometimes they wear out, because they are made up of plastic...however you can easliy see that, and move it around..and make sure all the bolts are tight..

So. check the waterpump, by tring to shake the fan up and down and side to side, and see if the shaft move, then its the waterpump...the clutch really wont give you too much play, it just wont spin as fast, with the engine running, Or the blade..basically it will look like its fallen off....

Wont start

check for battery voltage at the charge post on the alternator and at the 2 wire connect with the key on .if you have it then its a bad alternator. if you have a belt spinning the alternator.
