It's on the lower corner of the radiator on the side facing the engine. If you pop the hood and shine a light down there, you should see it. Some are on drivers side, some passenger side. Depends on where your radiator hose is. It's usually on the other side. It should just be a plastic plug. Some are hex shaped (wrench for removal) some look like a plastic wing nut. It could also either be black or white.

It's usually easier to get to from the top side bending over. From underneath, the core support (cross member to some folks) is usually in the way unless you scoot back far enough under the truck to look up at the radiator. Doing this is also a sure way to get anitfreeze on yourself when you pull the plug. Been there/done that. Haha.

Your radiator drain plug is located on the bottom of the radiator either on left or on the right side where lower portion hose attaches to the radiator. Sometimes in white in color and require an Allen wrench and sometimes have black spigot type drain that has some sort wing nut plastic valve.

1998 GMC Jimmy hood release cable broken

Remove the cable from the latch and any hold downs or clamps. Push the rubber gromet through the fire wall into the car. Remove the handel assy. and pull
the cable assy.out through the fire wall. Now, if the
gromet can be removed. You can decide if you wan't
to put it back from under the dash, or under the hood.
Whatever is easiest for you, but if it can't, it has to go
back from under the dash. Hope this helps.
Good luck.

How to do a coolant change for a altima 2004

Make sure the engine is cold before you change the coolant.
Open the hood, place a container under the radiator, and look for the drain-plug under the radiator. Remove it by turning it counterclockwise. Remove the radiator cap. Once coolant drained out, replace the drain-plug, and put in fresh coolant. You might also remove the coolant reservior and empty it.

Radiator drain plug

It's probably located under the splash guard and should have either an internal hex head, an external hex (like a bolt head), or both. You can also drain the radiator by pulling the lower radiator hose.

Where is drain plug for 1998 dakota 4x4 i need to drain radiator &what is the turning thing on the lower drivers side of radiator 4

1998 dakota 4x4
You can remove the drain plug in the bottom on the radiator.
You can remove the lower radiator hose. Since the vehicle is 10 years old you may want to inspect the hoses for replacement anyway.

) Make sure the vehicle is cool.
) Slightly loosen the radiator cap to release any pressure.
) Re-tighten the radiator cap.
) Place a suitable container under the drain point.
) open the drain.
) Re-loosen the radiator cap again.
) Allow to drain.
* At this point the radiator can be fill with water and a radiator cleaning agent- run the engine - allow to warm up.
* Re-drain the radiator - .
) Refill the radiator with water/anti-freeze.
) Dispose of waste fluid according to the local regulations. Some city dumps will accept it. Some parts stores may accept it. Do not pour down the drain or dump on the ground.

I was able to reach up there with a small 1/4" socket driver and a small extension. Not easy, you will probably make a bit of a mess. Takes a little patience. I also suggest flushing the whole coolant system and putting in the green coolant.
