1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4X4 with wayyyy too much play in the steering. Scary play. You have to turn the wheel half way around for the tires to start turning. Is it a front end issue?

Lay under the front end and have someone turn the wheel back and forth. Inspect all the steering linkage components for play in the joints. any play is too much and the fitting should be replaced. It may also be the ball joints. They are located on the steering knuckle at each front wheel.Inspect for play in the same manner

Streering wheel will flop around 360d after the Tilt section, goodyear says clock spring, but cant find a clock spring in any manual I read. Truck is a 95 F150 Supercab 4wd 5.8l. Tilt, cruise, and a...

The "clock spring" is a slang term used to describe the round electrical contact below the steering wheel inside the steering column, that transfers the switch contacts in the steering wheel to the actual vehicle. Your problem is more than likely the bearing in the top half of the steering column. Disconnect the battery and remove the air bag and steering wheel nut, steering wheel, and electrical switches, then look at the mechanical bearings or bushings at the steering shaft and case unit, the problem should be visible at this point. Hope this helps, let me know.

Steering wheel shaft is loose in column. I removed the steering wheel to replace ignition switch that went ok but when all back together, wheel has about a half inch of play all the way around.

Don't know exactly what you mean, but the steering wheel is tapered and has splines. You sort of wiggle it as you put it on, in order to ensure the splines line up. Then you tighten down the center nut. In which case it can't possibly wiggle.

How replace turn signal switch 2000 chevy blazer?

Since the 2000 chevy blazer is equipped with SRS (Saftey Restraint System), ie: Airbags, which is located in the steering wheel. In order to replace the turn signal switch you must remove the steering wheel. Therefore I would only highly advise you to take it to a dealer to have this done.

Ligts not working on steering wheel for 2006 escalade

If half are working, then most likely the other half are simply blown bulbs that just need replaced. A blown fuse would normally cause ALL the lights in that section to go off, not just half.
