If your car won't crank over by using the starter, I would not be looking there. I would be thinking battery, starter, or mechanical freeze up if the crankshaft will not spin.

1994 buick lasaber wont start no spark why and what is it

if this is the 3.8 they have a problem with the cam shaft magnet falling off the timing gear if you pull the senser and turn the motor over by hand you can feel if the magnet is still there the senser is on the front of the motor above the water pump it also has a crank shaft senser behind the balencer

Car is getting gas and getting spark but won't start just keeps turning

if you remove the crank shaft senser at the front of the engine ,between the engine and gearbox , the tip of it will be missing ,this is due to excessive end float in the crank shaft due to worn thrust washers,

Cut off when I put my foot on the gas. Now it will turn over and will not start

it might be the crank shaft postion senser or the cam shaft postion senser. i was having the same problem but it would stall out to when i was driving. so try that i had both replaced and have not had a problem since.
