You will need to remove the passenger side headlamp assembly. Once it is out you can drill some small holes into the front support to gain access to the relay.

When I turn off the engine the fan keeps running. What can I do to fix this problem?

Sounds like you have a stuck fan relay. It is located under the passenger headlight assembly. Theoretically you need to remove the entire front core support to replace it but it has become common practice to remove the passenger headlight assembly (usually one bolt and then pull to release from the retainers) and drill a hole large enough to replace the relay.

WHER IS THE FAN RELAY SWITCH ON A 2002 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

I is under the passenger side headlight. I have had to change mine a few times now. The proper way to do it is to remove the front bumbper to gain access. Crazy I know. The jeep dealer showed me a quicker way. Remove the headlight, cut a hole through the bumber under the headlight( you won't see the hole as the headlight will cover it up), and this will give you access to the relay.

Replaced radiator fan motor and ir still doesnt work, checked fuse under hood and it is ok

Your vehicle has a fan control relay (Solid state) that is located in the front passenger side behind the grill. Service Manula says you have to take off front bumper to access, but there is a trick to get to it by removing the headlight and cutting through the splash guard for access. Search for Cherokee fan relay replacement and you will find diagrams and instructions on how to do it. Be careful while cutting the access panel. Cutting too deep will cut into the vacuum resevoir (I know!)

I need to know where the fan relay switch is under the hood

If you're talking about the cooling fan relay, it's behind the bumper cover under the passenger side headlight. Instead of taking the entire bumper cover off, you can take the right headlight assembly out, and cut a hole in the plastic cover. You won't see the hole after replacing the headlight, and I know several techs that do this. You might want to remove the battery, and look down to see where the relay is before cutting.

Need location of fan relay

The relay location depends on what style cherokee you have. Grand cherokee's are located behind thepassenger side headlight which involves removing the bumper cover and grill.
On the older style cherokee such as the sport there located in the engine compartment fuse panel.

Engine fan

The fan relay is stuck on.The relay is located under the passenger side headlight and requires removing the front bumper to get to it.You can unplug the fan as a way to keep the fan from running when the car is off, but you should never run the car with it unplugged.
