I believe a 94 astro has a cpi system this is a central injector with 6 tubes with poppet valves this located inside of the intake manifold, the top half of the plenum comes off and then the central injectoris inside, make sure your fuel pressure is up to spec also

I have a 1998 chevy astro V6 over 200000 miles

The fuel pump might be working but it is not priming. When you turn on the vehicle, the pump sends fuel under pressure to the injectors, to "prime" or have fuel present to be able to start engine. Without it there will no fuel available to start it. You are manually priming the engine, and the fuel pump is taking over from there. Check connections to fuel pump and replace if necessary. It is not an inexpensive repair

1999 chevy astro wont start has spark and fuel preasure someone looked at and said they think a injector might be bad under the plentum does this sound right before i start tearing apart motor

if you vehicle has a Vortec engine it's possible for and injector poppet to spring a leak , My $$'s on the fuel pressure regulator . it's underneath the plenum (under throttle plate) and to the rear of the injector spider . most times it leaks fuel into the rear cylinders
