Question about 1992 Mitsubishi Galant
When driving the car it suddenly stopped and could smell electrical burning smell inside the car. The car still turned over but wouldn't fire. Turns out the computer had a surge an burnt out a diode. Replaced the computer and car fired straight away and idled like normal. Put it in gear, engaged the clutch and the engine stopped. Burnt out the same diode in the computer. Checked the coils and they are fine. Wondering on the next step to take. Please help me. Can't keep replacing computers.. Car is a *** import...
Check under dash neer pedals make sure that theres not a wire shorting up under there
