Start with making sure the fluid is at the proper level and with the right fluid. If that does not work,it could be the power steering pump, rack and pinion,or bent suspension parts.Good luck.

My Mitsubishi colt rodeo 2.8tdi battery is draining when I drive more then sixty. My dashboard light has also gone dead. The power of the batt goes down to below 8v. I checked out the alt and it works.

You have a possible alternator that has gone bad, have it tested for proper operation. Any O'reilly or Autozone auto parts store does the test for free.

Is there a cam belt on a mitsubishi colt 1.1

I have a Colt 2005 Z30 1.1. I went to the shop asking for a shift of timing belt. I was happily surprised when the guy said that it had a timing chain instead of a belt and did not need to be changed. (I do not know how long does the chain holds, but definitely at least twice as long as the belt)

Have you checked your power steering fluid? That is most likely the problem.

I have a Mitsubishi colt 2006, today when I was reversing from a car park the wheel was (is) very heavy and hard to turn I also notice the ESP light is on. I thought it might be the power steering fluid...

The power steering pump is usually a black box with a round bottom. The fill cap on top of the pump is about the same size as the oil fill cap, but it has a dipstick mounted on the inside. It is driven by a belt, so it will be on the passenger side of the engine. It is often mounted lower on the engine.

I'd like to give you the page reference in the owner's manual, but the Mitsubishi website only provides manuals to owners (you sign up on the website to get access).

If the power steering pump is driven by a separate belt, check the belt tension.
