That's tie rod pin. Then, do you mean the tie rod end has broken off, or are you just talking about a splitpin? Please explain.

Hello! There is a 4 pin connector that plugs into the tailgate with colors; Gray/Blue (pin4)...White/Black (pin1)...Blue/Black (pin3)...And Blue/White (pin 2)...Pins 2 & 3 are the motor that operates the tailgate...pins 1 & 4 are the switch contacts with pin 1 (White/Black wire tied to chassis ground)...When you press your remote Ground should be on pin #4...Check the plug to see if it is properly connected also inspect for loose or broken wires....If all looks good open the left kick panel and switch relays "L" and "U" and see if the problem occurs on a different door...If it does Relay "L" is the culprit...Replace relay...Guru...saailer

Car shaking

this is going to take a big chunk out of ur pocket. i have a 97 dodge intrepid and i just had this isue. first u need to get the car up in the air and shake ur tire. if it moves with out aplying alot of presure then u have a bad tyrod end usualy outer. but ur going to half to change ur tire because if u have a bad belt in ur tire then it will make every thing from ur axle to cvc joint to ur tyrod ends going bad. i dont quite know about the power steering. but ur going to half to check ur lines .and see if u got a split. it is easy if u canget some one in the car and have them crand the weel back and forth. u should see where its dripping from. but if u have any other questions please dont hesitate to ask.if i dont know the answer i can find it. please rate my solution
