How do you take a tail light cover of a nissan wingroad 2006

Drop the tailgate - there are two torx screws holding the lens assembly in place. Remove both, then GENTLY! pull the lens assembly straight back (there are two self-seating PLASTIC bolts that hold the assembly into the truck frame, towards the cab).
Once undone, there is a strip of three bulbs on one wired base, and that base is screwed to the lens assembly (4 Philips). Unscrew those, and the lens assembly is free from the base. You can then remove the bulbs or replace the lens.

Hi, I have a 96 mazda 323 astina BA and am trying to remove the right rear light assembly to access the brake light globe to change, have removed the two screws from rear and lightly jiggle the light...

well if you took out all of the visible screws, then I believe you have a push in-clip thats holding it in, you have to pull it out with some force and it should pop off. dont be scared to do it. At first you might be, but it will pop right off, first try to locate any visible screws can be holding it, remove any carpeting around it to scope out the area behind the assembly. How do i know, I have changed a few tail light assemblies on a few cars, more foreign cars have push-in clips, it gets frustrating because you have to put in alot of force to pull it out. make sure you have the correct size for the bulb, check modifiedlife.com for the correct bulb size diagram.

Change brake light bulb on a 2000 Nissan Frontier

The entire bed line will need to be removed. The long screws that hold the metal bracet where the bed extender attaches also hold the tail light assembly in place.
I pulled the bed liner up at a 45 degree angle and layed it on top of the cab. This revealed the screws. Take both screws out and lay to the side along with the metal bracket for the bed extender.
Now firmly grab the edges of the tail light assembly and pull...there are 2 hard rubber nipples that snap in to hold the assembly. You will feel like you might break it but you won't..just pull straight back hard. The assembly will "POP" out and then you can just twist the back of each bulb there are (3) and pull out..now you will see the bulbs..just pull the bad bulb straight out and push the new one into place. Now just reassemble. Total time will be 30-45 min. for this repair.

How to replace tail light bulb - 05 Honda Odyssey

Yup after removing the 2 screws, there is a round plastic tap.
you need to pop the light housing back and outward with a flat screwdriver. wrapped electrical tape on the flat end to avoid scratching the paint.

Changing rear brake bulb for a ford falcon EL

I have a '98 build EL Falcon. If the tail light assembly hasn't been out before, inside the boot there are these 2 locating pins coated in plastic. These are attached near the outer edge of the assembly, running inside the boot. The square shaped hard plastic bits protruding inwards are for screws to attach to - so don't remove these. I had to get the plastic off to free the locating pins to remove the assembly. The second part is the 2 screws towards the reverse light end of the assembly. You access these from the outside of the car. Once these are undone the assembly should come out far enough to access the bulbs - as wiring is attached. There are 3 accessible bulbs available to replace. The brake light and the indicator bulb holders are in line with each other and you twist them out of the assembly, then remove the actual bulb and replace. To replace the assembly, put the locating pins into position and then the rest until sitting correctly and re-install the 2 screws.

How do you replace the third brake light bulb on a 2004 Hyundai Accent 2dr hatchback?

It's not impossible people! You will however need more than just a screwdriver.
This is for a 2004 Hyundai Accent 3 door (i.e. Hatchback)
Open the rear door to get to the stop light assembly. Directly under (or above now that the door is open and it is upside down) the light case is a small rectangular panel that you can snap out using a flathead screwdriver.
Once removed you should see 4 hex bolts. Remove these (a ratchet is the easiest way to go) and you should be able to pull the light case free of its mount. NOTE: You will notice two pegs or tabs helping to keep the case in place, a bit a wiggling may be needed to free them.
Once it is hanging free, you will need to remove the 6 screws on the bottom holding the case together. With these removed the back should come off and you can get to the bulb.
The replacement bulb I purchased was a Sylvania Long Life number 921. Pull the old bulb out (it may need some force/wiggling but be careful not to break it), and slide the new bulb into place. I would recommend checking that the new bulb is functioning at this point, while everything is still disassembled.
If everything is working... then replace the bottom cover, replace the 6 screws, slide the whole case back into place, replace the 4 bolts, and finally snap the panel cover back into place.
This whole process should take no longer than 20 minutes.
Hope this helps... Cheers!
