Question about 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis
If the guy you have working on your car does not know what a ball joint is, or where it is located, i would not have him working on my car!!!! You can have him lift the front end of your car up and by grabbing the top and bottom of the tire and move it in a top to bottom motion and see if there is movement in the ball joint. The ball joint is located at the bottom of the spindle(the thing that holds the front tire) it may have a grease fitting that is visible at the bottom of the ball joint, there is also an upper ball joint on that car aswell. You can also check the tie rod also by grabbing the tire to the right and left and jiggle it tto the right and left to see if there is any movement in the tie rod located on that same spindle up about half the distance up and towards the the rear of the car on both sides. All parts will be available at any online parts place or jobber. And nothing thats worth anythingthing is free Bro.
