You have to go thru the seat to get to the locking mechanism, If the lever is not working next to the seat to pop it. Once you get to the lock look for cable going to the lock then just use a screwdriver to pull it up a tad and it will pop the lock open. You can take the two bolts out that hold it in after you open the trunk and then remove the key portion and replace it or leave it off and use a screwdriver to open it until u can replaceit. Just remember not to leave anything of value in it cause if u can use a screwdriver to get in it so can anyone else!

How do you get a 2000 dodge neon trunk open when the key won't work? No button in glove box.

The only other way I can think of is to remove the back seat to gain access to the trunk latch.
Otherwise, a locksmith would be my next solution.

My 2005 neon will crank over but will not start. fuel pressure is good but no spark acording to the timing light.

Is there a lever on the driver side close to the brake pedal. Mine is a 97 but there is a lever for the trunk and the hood. I hope this works.
Now if someone could read my problem and help me.

97 dodge neon will not start, once in a while

Do you have sufficient power to the vehicle? Do the lights work and radio? If not your battery is low, if yes than your starter solenoid may have failed. Since there is absolutely nothing, I take it you hear no cranking or igniting. correct?

1995 dodge neon trunk will not open. Key works

Hello, you could pick up one of those little containers of lock deicer and lubricant and spray it in the key lock. From the description the key lock works intermetiatly. After you put the spray in work the key in and out a few times and work at turning the lock. While your trying to turn the key try moving it in and out slightly. Your key lock might just be freezing up from lack of use.
