My gauges aren't working. I have a ABS an a traction light on on my bmw 528i. what could be the problem?

wheel speed sensor, believe the front right or driver rear, one of those two, they're different, and not interchangeable---the fronts and rears.....both fronts are the same and both rears are the same but the front are not the same as the rears. There is 4 of them btw.

98 528i...when shifting to netural from drive it shifts hard.

is it a 98 or a 2008, couple advice, use high actane gas only,NO 87 PLEASE ,make sure all vacuum hoses fit thight, check all mounts on your engine and tranny, check tranny fluid make sure it is not brown or black, the color should be red, check struts, axle and all suspension parts, check tire pressure, make sure tires are in good shape. BAD MAN WAGON OR BOB MARLEY AND THE WALIERS (BMW) very easy to maintain ,good luck mon and use castrol tranny oil for BMW only

I have a 1997 BMW 528i. A few months ago my temp gauge went into the red so I took it to a mechanic and they claimed the t-stat was stuck, so they replaced it. Today, while I was driving the temp gauge...

firstly, check coolant, add to required level. a fluctuant temp gauge usually means there is a migrating air pocket in the system somewhere. the question is, is this a new air pocket due to currently leaking coolant or is it a pocket leftover from the t-stat replace way back when that was never completely bled out? if the coolant already seems at the required level, then the system needs to be bled again. if this does not solve it, then i would again suspect the t-stat
