I believe you will find your fuel filter on the driver side frame rail. There is also a little device that in the event of a roll over cuts off the power to the fuel pump. It is usually located in the passenger side kick panel of most Ford's. There is a button on it. If it is popped out you need to press it in to reset it. It is similar to a GFI. Ground fault interrupt circuit.
the pump is in the tank and turn the key off when working on it,the filter is what you took apart already, buy a new one and you will know what it looks like Bronco Fuel Pump
The fuel pump on a Bronco is located inside the fuel tank. The level sender unit and pump are usually mounted together but they can be changed individually.
You will probably need a speacial tool to seperate the flexible fuel hoses from the metal fuel pipes.
Hi..my name is Keith..and the 2 things that i know of...that will not let power go to the fuel pump is 1..the fuel pump relay being bad..or 2..that something has tripped the Inertia Switch...and it needs resetting..i hope this will help
A 1996 Bronco fuel pump is in the tank. The tank will have to be dropped. After that, it's quick & easy. The filter is on the rail, not so easy even with the line removal tools. Wear safety glasses in case of any pressure.
