How did you test battery? At a parts store? Batteries usually always show 12 volts, its the amps that make the difference whether is turns over. Does it seem that it is making any attempt to start? Do the dashlights come on? Is there a clicking noise? Details make a lot of difference if you are looking for the right answer.

It is possible that you have starter-lock if this is the case - when you try to start your car by turning the key (with the car in park) you should just hear a CLICK,CLICK.
Hope this helps. AS you know, there are many things that can cause any one problem/condition.

Good Luck Let me know how you make out

No clicking because engine tries to start, but won't catch. Possibly like it is not getting fuel or spark.

It sounds like a fault in the starter circuit. It could be a defective neutral safety switch, starter solenoid, or possible a defective ignition switch but I doubt it. Can you hear the starter solenoid??? I'm willing to bet the problem is either with starter relay, neutral safety switch, or starter solenoid.

Stop on stop sign engine died

If the engine won't fire up, but your starter turns over, you may want to check your timing unless you have a check engine light on. If the CEL light is on, have the codes scanned.

If the engine won't turn over with the starter or it clicks, have your battery tested at autozone or advanced auto parts. Replace the battery if it is bad. Else, have your starter tested.

If the engine still won't turn over and the battery and starter are tested fine, you may have a blown fuse, bad ignition switch, or a failed relay.

If the engine fires up but randomly dies and starts back up, you either have a failed sensor, failing fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, bad plugs or wires, or a failing ECU.

Accidentally drained battery, jump started, works fine now, battery tested fine, but radio won't come back on?

When the battery was down or removed the radio was reset and since this is done for secuirty the codes must be entered on the panel for the radio to be active. Please check the manuals for the codes or call your dealerships.
If not try the link below:

I turn the key on my 2002 explorer and just get a single sort of clunk. No rapid clicking noise no engine turnover.

Have the battery checked at Pep Boys, and make sure your battery cables are tight.

My 2002 Ford Explorer wont crank!

I'm assuming the coilpack got wet!! Check if there is any power to the coil before changing. If thats fine, replace the coil. If there is no power, check your electrical circuit for the coil. Hopefully this helps
