Some times these are just problems with different sensors. If you take it to a shop they will put a DYNO on it and they can figure out which sensor it is and then you cvan de4cide if you want to replace it.

  • P0103
Mass Air Flow Sensor Circuit High Input
  • Possible causes
  • Faulty mass air flow sensor
    - Intake air leaks
    - Dirty mass air flow sensor
    - Dirty mass air filter
    - Mass air flow sensor harness is open or shorted
    - Mass air flow sensor circuit poor electrical connection
  • Before replacing the mass air flow sensor, try replacing the air filter and cleaning the air flow sensor with low compress air or mass air flow sensor cleaner. Reset code and drive vehicle. If the code comes back, it may be necessary to replaced the mass air flow sensor.

Undefinedas replacement on civic 98 sensor p0113

Possible causes for this code are: - Faulty Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor
- Dirty air filter
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor harness is open or shorted
- Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor circuit poor electrical connection. this code sets when: - An excessively high voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM. Usual Possible symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) P0113 1998 Honda Civic Description The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is built into mass air flow sensor or in some vehicles mounted to the air filter duct housing. The sensor detects intake air temperature and transmits a signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM).The temperature sensing unit uses a thermistor which is sensitive to the change in temperature. Electrical resistance of the thermistor decreases in response to the temperature rise. The Intake Air Temperature signal is used as an input for various systems in the vehicle.

When you shut the car off something is staying on in the vehicle, causing a current draw on the battery, causing it to go dead over night. something that would cause this would be like a under the hood light, trunk light, interior light staying on. visually check it. and if you don't find anything you might want to buy a fluke/ volt meter, to check for unwanted current draw when the vehicle is off. your local mechanic could help. it could become more extensive then this but most likely not by the sounds of it.

Check engine light stays on

There could be many reasons your check engine light turns on. The light means that the computer in the vehicle detected a fault or problem with a part or system such as when low air flow is noticed. You can buy a code reader at a local parts store that will tell you what the codes mean, or some vehicles can tell you what code it is using a flashing light much like Morse code.

P0068 on a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT. Rough "hunting" for idle. Momentary lag/loss of power from a stop. Random RPM changes while at a constant speed. Sometimes it feels like it drops out of gear...

P0068 Symptoms - Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light)
- Lack/Loss of power
- Engine rough idle Possible causes - Large vacuum leak
- Leaking air duct system
- Mass Air Flow (MAF) poor electrcial connection
- Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) poor electrcial connection
- Faulty Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor
- Faulty Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor
- TP sensor not seated properly.
- Faulty Throttle Position (TP) sensor.
- Dirty throttle body
When is the code detected? The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors operation rationality check by comparing sensed throttle position to mass air flow readings
P0068 DODGE Description The Powertrain Control Module (PCM) monitors a vehicle operation rationality check by comparing Throttle Position (TP) to Mass Air Flow (MAF) readings. If, during a self-test, the comparison of the TP sensor and MAF sensor readings are not consistent with the calibrated load values, the test fails and a diagnostic trouble code is stored in continuous memory.

I have 2001 Suzuki Vitara, just recently was having problems with car cutting off or put putting, so I took to a mechanic we replace fuel filter, check engine light was staying on he pur computer on it I...

Relaced all that and didn't check the catalitic converter. When you get codes for MAF sensor and 02 Sensors, the first place to check is vacuum leaks, if none are found then it would go right to the catalitic converter. You might want to consider another mechanic.

Air bag light stays on in 1997 ford f-150

HI. This will essentially be an indication of SRS(air bag) module failure ,or an individual crash sensor may be malfunctioning. These sensors are locate all around the vehicle. You will need have the codes pulled by a certified ford code scanner tool to actually isolate the culprit. With that said; it will most likely be an issue that will concern one or more of the crash sensor mounted throughout the vehicle.

  • Worst case scenario will be total SRS module failure, which will require you to have the entire module replaced.

Engine light stays on a 97 olds achieva sl

Engine light stays on, low coolant light stays on , recently had a plastic housing replaced that was leaking, it was linked to thermostat, tranmission coolant, heater ect. Had the thermostat replaced also. Level of coolant is fine, does't overheat anymore, but now the starter wants to spin a couple of times and then it starts. The car has no rust, would like to hang on to it

The temerature light comes on at startup and stays on for 3-4 minutes before going off

If the light is coming on, they should be hooking a computer up to the car to see what the car computer is exactly trying to say. Maybe low coolant, bad thermostat, blockage in radiator restricting flow, it could be a number of things. Does it come on more often in the city or the highway driving?
