Question about 2006 Nissan Altima

Open Question

The radio and clock on my 2006 Altima stopped working. The clock and radio console in my 2006 Altima are not powering on. I have checked the fues (it is the one that also runds the power mirrors and it is fine). I do not think that the radio has a code that locks/unlocks it. I steam cleaned my car and had left the windows up so it was very humid inside when I went out to the car. When I started the vehicle the radio and clock did power on. I am unsure what to do - Does the factory radio have an internal fuse also that might have gone out OR what could the problem be

2006 nissan altima radio and clock have no power . all fuses inside car and under hood are good. I was told it was the battery but everything else is fine. Is this possible?

No. It cannot be the battery. The radio should be removed and the wiring harness checked to I sure that there is no power at the radio. Then the harness should be back tracked to find the problem.

Radio/Clock will not play or appear on screen

You should check with your dealer for how to reset the radio after someone has tampered with it. This has happened to me and it appears someone had tried to remove the Bose stereo...thorough detailing!

First thing look in owners manual for fuse, radio is on different fuse then light display, most likely it is a fuse.

2006 grand cherokee cd player dont work

There are two power sources for your is full time and powers the clock, the other is on the accessory side...only hot with key on. check that power supply. Remember...fuses dont wear out...they blow for a reason. If you find a faulty fuse replace it...if it blows again, it is because there if a fault somewhere.

My radio/cd/clock stopped working. There doesn't

Check the fuse in the fuse box. Look on the fuse box door to see which fuse is for the radio. Some times its listed as ACC. Pull the fuse and look to see it is burned. If it is go to any auto supply store or even Walmart and get a replacement of the same amperage. The number will be clearly stamped on the fuse. If this one blows than it could be a problem beyond the fuse.
