Question about Nissan Murano

1 Answer

The front window on my nissan 2007 murano fog up all the time especially when it is raining or snowing. The windows sometimes clears up when I turn on the defogger, but it must always be on cold a/c to clear up for a little bit temporarilly. no matter whether its cold or hot this is the only way to clear the windows. As you know who really wants to use an a/c on a car in the winter.

Does you car have express down, this means the windows will go down all the way as soon as you touch the window switch. To stop them from going all the way down just touch the switch a second time.

My 2001 malibu windows fog up all the time .Anyone know where to check for proper ventalation?

Make sure the ventilation is set to "fresh air", and not "recirculate" . There should be a button just below the heat control that shows the air flow. One has an arrow going straight in to the little car picture, and one shows the arrows in a circular motion. Set it to the straight one, the "fresh air". Fresh air is drier and your windows will dry quicker. There is always moisture in your car from snow and slush and rain and it takes forever to dry out.
The only other thing it could be is a cracked heater core, and if it was that you would smell antifreeze when ever theheater was on.

I have a 2001 Chevy Cavalier. Whenever it rains All of my windows fog up like crazy! I have tried rain-x it did not work. The defrost/fan does not help much. My A/C does not work that well.I have to drive...

i think you have a water leak inside the vehicle ,first step is to find the drain from the heater unit ,passenger side coming through firewall is a rubber hose that hangs down ,make sure the bottom of the hose is clean

Rear window defogger on Nissan ExSaloon N16

Are the 2 connectors (male) fitted tightly on the rear window? Sometimes you have to have them resoldered. I used special electric glue. Canadian Titr. You can also use alum. duct tape. Good luck.
