Start tracing power wirings to cab. Some of these come off the starter area, that power these items you mentioned. I had the same issue on about the same year Volvo with a Cummins engine. Also check all you fuses and relays. The one I had I found wiring issues near the starter, where the cab pulls power to that side of the dash.

I don't know if your still on here wilsodfarm, but I have a 2005 International 9400i, and I'm having the same dash problems. I bought the truck used and it had an OBC system in it. The cable to the qualcom is just hanging in the back. Do you know where I can disconnect the OBC?

Where is the ground wire located on my ecm on my 60 series Detroit engine

Engine Control Module on a 60 Series Detroit should go from the ECM (road side of engine) to the Engine Block, then another from the block to the chassis. Hope that helps!

Oil pressure is 60 psi with engine not running, jumps to 80 when engine starts

so where your eyes look at to see 60, ?
the dash?
or a real gauge , at the block, port. (gallery)

you must learn 2 things, about dash gauges
  1. they are not really instruments. not even close, more toy like.
  2. and some return to zero others do NOT.
many cars made, you key off and the gauges, freeze.
this is nothing new and is normal.

use the scan tool yet and look for DTC errors from the cluster?
in any event.
id concerned about engine oil pressure , try a real gauge.
if concerned about just the dash gunge?, then scan it first. then do the self tests shown in the FSM.

this car the PCM sense oil pressure data via the PCI bus
to the cluster and then it displays this data.
im not sure which years return to zero.
the PCM gets its DATA from the oil pressure sender.
if the pCM shows the data to bee good using a scan tool
then we check for errors on the PCI buss. if that is good
the display is bad, if the data is wrong. there.

here is the path of data. in text
sender>>> pcm>>> pci bus>>>> cluster.>>> gauge.

see the FSM page , 1 or 9 pages just for the cluster. page 7

factory service manual or alldata.com
either.

Fault code 128s254-07 what does it mean

If you are referring to a check engine code for a Detroit Diesel 60 series engine, there are several forum links that troubleshoot the bad code. 1 resolved code involved replacing wires to the ECM and replacing some bad batteries.

Operating oil pressure for 14.0l detroit dieselseries 60

If the engine is at normal operating temperature 25 pounds is fine at idle. Also have you tested the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge, if not you should do so.

Where is the oil pressure sensor located on a 60 series detroit

60 series detroit has oil sender on driver side near rear of engine just above the starter. It usually has 3 wires, and sometimes can be buried in the harness, so you may have to look under wiring harnesses in that area to find.

Oil pressure guage pushes to 80 when not idling.

In an engine in good condition, oil pressure is a function of RPM. Higher rpm, higher pressure. Whne coasting downhill, in gear, the engine rpm will increase, hence, the oil pressure will go up, as required, and as expected.

There is nothing wrong with your engine, unless the oil pressure goes excessively high under any regime. Low oil pressure is a sign of low rpm, or under load, a sign of worn parts.

Engine oil light is showing on the dash board after switching on

Most important thing you need to do is to establish the actual oil pressure. put a mechanical gauge on the engine and read real oil pressure. If pressure is low (min is 15psi, I prefer to see at least 20 at idle) there is an internal problem...bearings etc. If pressure is good, sending unit has failed...replace it. I would not drive it 'till the oil pressure is verified as being safe. You might get lucky and someone just forgot to plug in the sending unit, but it must be checked!!!
good luck

High oil pressure

This is a normal occurrence. The oil pressure is directly correlated to engine RPM. your check engine light is related to something else.
