On most motors the power steering pump is located attached to a pulley along the serpentine or fan belts. the resevoir is part of the pump housing..do not overfill. In most US vehicles the pump is bolted to brackets at lower right side on front of motor (looking from front of vehicle)

Easiest way to find power steering look at your belts, the power steering should be on the left hand side (drivers), it will have two hoses running out of it, one is a high pressure(crimped ends) the other is not. Check the hoses for leaks, usually it will be the one that is not crimped and has hose clamps on it and they are just loose. Sometimes the high pressure will leak, but once you fill it up, wipe everything down with a rag and run the car and have someone turn the wheel and check for the leak. Hope this helped Tim

You better find the leak, first and fix that.
The power steering pump, has to be looking right at you, and be driven by a belt!!!!!?????

I came back from a 4 day trip and when I started the hybrid, I had no power steering or power brake assist.

Check your power steering fluid level. The power brakes are hydraulic assist and get hydraulic pressure from the power steering pump. If the fluid level is good you may have a bad pump. If the fluid level is low fill it up and find the leak .

also make sure that you do not have a leak in one of the lines etc.
