May be your fan motor, check for voltage at plug if not there, check fuse and relay, might be the sensor also.

I tried that but still am having issues, no horn iterior lights will not turn off radio on but no sound replaced the computer on the passenger side under the dash some issues were resolved but now the door open indicator clicks on and off as I drive along with my fan not working it seems as if it is an electrical issue but I cannot pinpoint other than it being a bad relay box (what is the technical term for this part)

Fan speed control knob works sometimes and doesnt work at others. No definite reason why. What would cause this and how would i replace it?

Sounds like a loose wire or bad connection. Try accessing the rear of the knob and make sure all cables are securely fixed (it may be a spade fitting or a soldered connection). If you can follow the wires back to the fan check these as well paying particular attention to any connector block that you come across.
It is possible the knob itself is faulty and the circuit/connection makes and breaks randomly, in which case the only option is to replace it

My passenger low beam headlight went out, then heater knob throws out a whistle when fan is turned on-what?

Either these are related or they aren't.

I'd suggest the occurrences are coincidental. Replace the lamp and see if it works. There might be a foreign body like a leaf or something in the fan.

Why wont my A/C Compressor and High Coolant Fans Engage?

Check for broken wiring, blown fuses, possible bad relays, and look at the pressure switch. Some systems have a high pressure switch (some have a low pressure also) that prevent the compressor from running. If it is faulty or damaged, it could be preventing the compressor from running. Wire damage could be possible with front end damage.

Fan not cutting on

Fan switch has a replacement and wire from dealer Had replaced fan but did not fix it. Fan belt broke and car overheated. Stopped as temp went out of normal. This was enough for temp switch to stop working. Fan never ran again until new sensor and wire connector were installed. This was on a 1999 SC2 a Saturn mechanic told us this was a common concern.

it could be a bad blower motor resister that controls fan speed depending on what fan setting you have set the dash switch could also be the blower motor itself that needs to be replaced.with the blower on try tapping the motor and see if it tries to start.if it tries or starts to work then the motor will need replacing.

the fan relay may have went bad...if the fan doesnt come on the compressor will shut down because of excessive pressure...has he used a test light to check all the fuses under the hood and inside... pay particular attention to fuse 10 in the inside fuse box...if there is no power at all to that fuse it may be in the ignition switch
