2 possible causes:
1 - when you installed the new lines you have damaged the power cable to the fuel pump - that would be detected as a short and the power to the engine would be cut, preventing it from starting. Disconnect the fuel line from the pump and put the contact - if the wires are good then the fuel should start squirting.
2 - while mounting the new lines you have disconnected some power cables to the engine - start by checking the starter and its connector, then the fuse box, then the power to the ECM and finally the entire wiring harness.

My tracker just quit yesterday. It will not turn

It is very common on the early geo trackers to have the fuel pump go out. If you remove the gas line were it connects to the fuel injectors and crank over the motor. Make sure you have a container to hold the fuel at the end of the hose in case the pump is working. Hope this helps!

Locate n change a fuel filter on a 1991 geo tracker

In front of the fuel tank on the passenger side mounted to the frame in the fuel line, not in the tank. Go to Autozone.com and you can get simple instructions on how to replace it.

1991 tracker I put in a new fuel pump relay. the new relay has power comming to teh relay the wire going to the fuel pump has no power. put the jumper wire in and the pump runs. Why won"t the power go...

probably becuase its faulty...try replacing it and go from there...or else there is another source of resistance in the circuit some where....also, check your fuses....a blown fuse will stop flow of current as well.

1991 Geo Tracker only starts with starting fluid.

Check fuel filter on both vehicles...After that check fuel pressure ...Blocking off air flow to engine will change the fuel air mixture...air deprivation changes (lessens) air flow and fools engine into reading more fuel than is actually there. Mass air flow sensor should also be checked/cleaned if no results obtained by filter change if pressure is OK.

On a 1991 geo tracker trying to find location of fuel pump relay?

The fuel pump relays are mounted on an "L" bracket underneath the ECM. Both have something to do with the Fuel pump. Be careful not to get it confused with the horn relay it is in the same vicinity (under the dash on the drivers side).

Have the computer checked. My Dads Tracker was doing the exact same thing and it turned out the computer was bad. I'm afraid it wasn't cheap to get the computer refurbished either. ($500)
