Question about 1983 Chrysler Cordoba
I encountered the same problem, and the most reasonable solution was to add additional remote control at one of the car electrical workshops. it is costs about 50USD.

Did you ever get a solution to this? I am having the same issue. Also my passenger door will not open, so I was hoping when I got the fob working that might solve the passenger door issue

SOURCE: have a seat cordoba. My
yeah my door lock wont open, i have to get in through the boot, i went to the seat dealership after a mechanic looked at it and said it was a barrel problem, made a few calls and its a manufacture part so 86 euro for the part and a 5 day wait and then whatever the mechanic charges to install. apparently its a problem on all Cordoba and a few VW since they make the engine and main parts. if i could get one in a scrap yard and use 2 keys i would this time of year n all, i just need some sort of lock asap. does this sound the same as your problem?
