    oops mis read code

    codes P1051,P1168

These codes are for the front A/F sensors, They are located in the exhaust system in front of the converters in the exhaust manifolds.
There is a reprogramming bulletin available for this. It has to be done by the dealer, but it will save you spending 4-500 dollars on these sensors. HERE is a copy of the bulletin. You need to bring the bulletin # XX the dealer and have the computer reprogramed

How do I check engine codes on a '93 Nissan Quest?

Here is a general description on retrieving codes.
You will need to check online for the actual codes and their meanings. Systems built before 1996 will not show much compared to OBD2 systems built after 1996.

Turn ignition key on.
On Pathfinder, Pickup and Van models, proceed as follows:
    1. Turn diagnostic mode selector on ECU to ON position and wait until inspection lamps flash.
    2. Note number of flashes, then immediately turn diagnostic mode selector to Off position.

The light "service engine soon" turn on in a nissan quest 2000 I read the manual but i'm not sure about if it is a big problem or not or if Is it a expensive problem ?

go here for quest help

The service engine light on is not a big deal. you just aren't meeting emissions right now.

Go to Autozone and have them run a free scan to get fault codes.

Just remember this - do not ever change the knock sensor even if it gives a fault code. It is in the middle of the engine and a waste of $600 for no improvement. It will never affect your engine performance, good or bad.

report back with code here or on Villager- Quest website I gave you.

Diagnostic codes

744 is to do with your torque converter clutch circuit, intermittent malfunction. 325 is knock sensor malfunction. Has vehicle been shifting different, probably at highway speed? (cruising) Have you noticed engine "ping"/"rattle" on acceleration? These would be common occurences with these codes.

How do I retrieve diagnostic codes from my 1995 Nissan Quest GXE van

it likely is not a problem. The oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe gets affected by fuel with even just 10% ethanol. Almost all gas has 10% ethanol now. Don't worry about it.
