My headlights on my 94 dakota work fine for a while on brights, but then just the headlights start flashing/flickering. Parking lights and brake lights are fine. It will also flash/flicker in dim lights but it takes longer for that to happen than in brights. Thanks for any and all help!!!!!!

Thanks for commenting on this problem. It took me a lot of time and looking at a lot of wiring, but I fixed this problem about a year ago I guess. It was the ground wires under the hood on the driver's side fender well. There was a splice where like 4 ground wires spliced to one that led towards the battery. At the splice those wires had corroded and gotten wet I am sure. GFS I heard was the technical term used for the "Green Fuzzy Stuff" that I saw on the copper wires. All I ended up doing was cutting back an inch on each wire where the corrosion was not present in protected wire. Cut the coating off there and re-spliced the wires there. I also electrical taped the heck out of the new splice area also. Hope this helps someone else!!! So far it has solved my problem. Thanks for commenting on this problem.
