Believe this or not because I know that it sounds so simple. My experience with the dodge ram 1994 to 2002 (the 2002 fleet vehicle's and commercial vehicle's were the same as the 94-01 ram) any ways check the plug that goes into the coil because the clip that holds it on breaks or just won't engage anymore. Check the ASD relay in the fuse box. Swap it with the starting relay. If the engine fails to roll over. Thats your problem. If not, check and see if your fuel injector connectors have voltage to them if not its a bad PCM. Hope this helps.

if truck has a ceramic ballist resistor near and connected to coil this could be problem or the crk posistion sensor could be too, i would change ballast first if you have on your truck appx cost $10
